Job summary

CV Technical is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced manufacturing site in Wellingborough. The role offers a dayshift pattern with good work-life balance and opportunities for training and progression.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose electrical faults, and work with motors, sensors, conveyors and PLCs to keep production running smoothly. The company provides training and a stable career path.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or qualified Electrical Engineer.
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or industrial environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding abilities.
• Experience with motors, sensors, conveyors, inverters, PLCs or automation equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site machinery.
• Responding to electrical breakdowns and fault finding efficiently.
• Working on a range of production and automated equipment.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime.
