Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a busy manufacturing site in LN6, Lincoln. This hands-on role supports maintenance programmes to keep production equipment operating efficiently and downtime to a minimum.

The role covers planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance, plus contributing to continuous improvement projects and site-wide engineering initiatives. A structured 4 on 4 off shift and a competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained or relevant engineering qualifications required.
• Electrical and mechanical experience (multi-skilled) required.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, predictive, and condition-based maintenance across all production equipment
• Provide rapid and effective response to production breakdowns
• Support business objectives and achieve site KPIs
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
• Assist with engineering projects, installations, and improvement activities
• Ensure effective use of engineering stores and cost control
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and safety
• Accurately record maintenance activities, downtime, and incidents
• Support the management of contractors on site
• Assist in maintaining site services and technical documentation
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role where you\'ll support the delivery of an effective maintenance programme, ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimised.

You\'ll play a key role in planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance, while also contributing to continuous improvement projects and supporting site-wide engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, predictive, and condition-based maintenance across all production equipment


• Provide a rapid and effective response to production breakdowns


• Support business objectives and achieve site KPIs
