Job summary

Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Louth on a temporary ongoing contract with the potential to go permanent. You'll perform PPM and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, diagnose faults, and work with production to minimise downtime, recording activities in the CMMS and supporting projects as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with PLCs, motors, pumps, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of CMMS or maintenance management systems.
• Mitsubishi PLC and steam generation experience advantageous.
• A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3/4, HNC/HND or equivalent).
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and control system faults.
• Working closely with production to minimise downtime.
• Recording maintenance work using the maintenance management system.
• Conducting root cause analysis to reduce recurring breakdowns.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Supporting engineering projects and managing contractors where required.

Location: Louth

Salary: £45,000 per annum (£21.63 per hour)

Contract: Temporary ongoing - potential of temp to perm

Shifts: Rotating Days & Afternoons

Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Louth for a skilled engineer to join their engineering team on a temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you'll be responsible for keeping production running efficiently through planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and continuous improvement activities.

The Role
