Job summary

Bupa in Wrexham is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep a high-volume FMCG site running safely and efficiently. You will respond to breakdowns, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, and drive improvements in equipment reliability.

This role offers a 4-on-4-off shift pattern (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am) with generous benefits, onsite parking, pension, and healthcare. The successful engineer will work both independently and as part of the wider engineering team.

Job description

We're recruiting for an experienced Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a major food manufacturing operation in Wrexham. The role

Working as part of the engineering team, you'll play a key role in keeping a busy, high-volume manufacturing site running safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, and helping to improve the reliability and performance of production equipment.

You'll work on a 4-on-4-off pattern, consisting of: 2 x day shifts: 7am-7pm, 2 x night shifts: 7pm-7am, 4 days off.

We're looking for engineers who are confident working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and who can demonstrate strong multi-skilled maintenance experience. You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
• Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG or similar production environment
• A proactive approach to preventative and reactive maintenance
• Good fault-finding and problem‑solving skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
• Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent practical experience

£51,000 salary
