Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site in Bersham. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated machinery, conduct fault-finding, and drive uptime and reliability across the plant.

The role requires hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, NVQ 3/City & Guilds, and the ability to work 4 days on, 4 days off (days and nights). Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated and semi-automated production machinery.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bersham

Salary: £53

Shift: 4 on, 4 off (Days & Nights)

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a modern, high-tech FMCG manufacturing site in Wrexham. You will be responsible for carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Working on a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off shift pattern, you will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting production performance across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.
• Ability to work a 4 on, 4 off days and nights shift pattern.

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.
• Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical maintenance experience (motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and hydraulics).
• Basic PLC fault-finding experience advantageous.

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer.

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
