Job summary

Argon Engineering Limited in Wrexham is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias Preferred) to join the on-site team. You will maintain plant, diagnose faults, and support improvements in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The role requires a strong electrical/mechanical background, relevant NVQ/HNC qualifications, and a willingness to work 12-hour rotating days and nights. Visa sponsorship is available for skilled workers.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical or mechanical background.
• Experience with maintenance in a manufacturing environment (food/FMCG desirable).
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of PLC systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Diagnose and fault-find on electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Work on a range of food production and packaging machinery.
• Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with food safety and health & safety standards.
• Assist with installations, upgrades, and project work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

We are working with a well-established food manufacturing business in Wrexham who are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site engineering team. Requirements
