The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day electrical and basic mechanical engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for fault diagnostics and repair of a wide variety of automated machines and processes including industrial batch washers, presses, conveyor systems, dryers, ironers, folders, stackers and shrink wrap machines. They will also be responsible for the upkeep of the water filtration and boiler softening plant as well as the boilers themselves. This job also involves various PPM tasks and project works. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
