ETS Consulting Ltd in Scunthorpe is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join a leading UK food manufacturing maintenance team. You will be responsible for maintaining fast-moving manufacturing equipment, including pumps, ovens, mixers, conveyors, robotics and packaging machinery, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain fast-moving manufacturing equipment (pumps, ovens, mixers, conveyors, robotics, packaging).
• Participate in waste-reduction initiatives on site and process improvements.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to maximise output and minimise production disruption.

The Company

Based within one of the UK's leading food manufacturing companies our client is a highly profitable and robust company, with over 30 years of manufacturing experience. They are looking to further strengthen their maintenance team, with the addition of an electrical biased engineer.

The Role

With a minimum of a formal apprenticeship in electrical engineering the successful candidate will have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules project based work within an automated environment, with a multi-skilled pedigree. On a day to day basis, you will be involved working with fast moving equipment. You will be working on manufacturing machinery such as, pumps, ovens, mixers, conveyors, robotics and packaging machinery. The role also requires a proactive approach as you will take part in waste reduction initiatives on site. As part of the maintenance function, you will be actively encouraged to get involved with process improvement initiatives along with planned and preventative maintenance ensuring maximum output and the least amount of disruption to production. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary and the opportunity to progress technically with time.
