Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our manufacturing client in Accrington. You will perform PPM, respond to breakdowns, and diagnose faults across production machinery using both mechanical and electrical skills.

You will also support continuous improvement, machinery upgrades, installations, and project work in a fast-paced environment. The role offers job security, training, and an opportunity to work on varied projects.

Qualifications

• Non-negotiable: Mechanical/Electrical maintenance experience.
• Proven fault-finding and maintenance on production equipment.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Perform reactive breakdowns and fault finding to minimise downtime.

Shift: Days and Nights

I'm working with a growing manufacturer looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. You'll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns, and fault finding across production machinery, using both your mechanical and electrical skills to keep operations running smoothly. You'll also support continuous improvement, machinery upgrades, installations, and engineering projects.

• Worked on hydraulics and pneumatics systems
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Requirements

• PLC fault-finding experience
• Continuous improvement or project experience
• 17th/18th Edition or other relevant electrical qualifications
