Job summary

Demob Job Ltd is seeking 3x Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers for a site in Erith, Kent. You will join a small engineering team handling planned maintenance and reactive tasks, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with 2 days and 2 nights, followed by 4 off.

Ideal candidates will have completed an apprenticeship with electrical and mechanical skills (Level 3), be familiar with single and three-phase systems, and possess PLC and diagram-reading abilities. Benefits include pension, healthcare and more.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship with electrical and mechanical skills at Level 3.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations desirable.
• Experience on single and three-phase electrical systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics and PLCs, plus reading diagrams.

Job description

My client has an immediate requirement for 3x Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their team at their site in Erith, Kent. The successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers will work as part of a small engineering team responsible for the planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks across the plant working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and established business, working 4 on 4 off shift patterns, consisting of 2 days, 2 nights then 4 off.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

• Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship program with electrical and mechanical skills and hold a minimum of Level 3 qualification.
• 18th Edition would be beneficial.
• Experience working on single and 3 phase systems.
• Have strong electrical and mechanical fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Strong mechanical skills, previous experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Previous experience working with PLC’s.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering diagrams and schematics.
