Job description

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to help provide reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment at our fully automated Hams Hall site.

Salary: £45,052.10, per annum, paid monthly (this includes a shift allowance)

Shifts: 3 on 3 off working 06:00 to 18:00 40.25 hours per week with 30 minutes for lunch.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Resolve breakdowns, reduce downtime, and improve plant reliability.
• Support the maintenance and wider team in working together to solve problems to keep our facility moving.
• Maintenance is carried out in both ambient and cold store environment to a temperature of -18, just like working in a freezer however full cold store spec PPE and equipment is provided.
• At times work using safety harnesses & on ladders at height.

Who we're looking for:

• Electrical engineering qualification NVQ or equivalent and experience essential
• Experience of working with automation & PLCs.
• Working safely at height trained.
• Good interpersonal skills and enjoy being in a team.
• Willingness to learn and improve your skills.
• Able to drive to get to site.
