Job description
Overview

You will join the delivery team at the AMRC Training Centre as an Engineering Workplace Coach. Your role will involve work‑based assessment of Engineering apprenticeship learners from Levels 3 to 6, teaching, learning, assessment, and maintaining a high quality portfolio of employers and learners.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out workplace assessments at employers’ premises.
  • Plan and deliver high quality, blended learning and coaching for apprentices.
  • Schedule and conduct learner progress reviews and assessments, ensuring compliance with the apprenticeship end‑point and weekly active learning targets.
  • Support enrichment activities such as S/T/E/M events to promote the AMRC Training Centre.
  • Develop excellent relationships with employers and report on learner progress.
  • Provide data on learner progress to employers and support at‑risk learners.
  • Ensure curriculum assessments and reviews meet AMRC quality standards.
  • Attendees monthly standardisation and update meetings with the Head of Skills/Workplace Curriculum Manager.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Level 6 qualification in engineering (or related discipline).
