Job summary

Hunter Selection | B Corp™ is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a Burton-on-Trent manufacturing site. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance in an automated environment, carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding, troubleshooting and wider repair work on multiple systems.

The role involves working with PLCs and electrical infrastructure, following CMMS details and contributing to plant reliability.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained with time served and NVQ Level 3.
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems; PLC exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding, troubleshooting and routine repairs.
• Work with PLCs and electrical infrastructure, ensuring CMMS procedure compliance.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

£48,000 - £53,000 (depending on experience)

Rotating shift pattern - 12 hr days / nights

Burton (on-site)

An opportunity to join a growing manufacturer in Burton in their maintenance team. Working in an automated manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance. You will carry out both mechanical and electrical fault finding, troubleshooting and wider repair / maintenance on various systems. You'll work with PLC's and other electrical infrastructure. All while making sure you are following details in the CMMS system.

Requirements

• Apprentice trained, time served, NVQ level 3 trained
• Mechanical and Electrical maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic / pneumatic systems
• Any experience with welding / fabrication would be beneficial
• Hands on experience with PLC's is beneficial
