Job summary

Boden Group in London is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to provide first-line mechanical maintenance across a growing portfolio of workspaces.

You will diagnose faults, replace components, carry out minor alterations, oversee contractors, and support general maintenance while working across multiple sites. The role is foot-mobile with training and benefits including 28 days leave, gym membership, and training funding.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in a mechanical discipline.
• Proven maintenance or construction experience.
• Practical experience using general tools and electrical equipment.
• Basic electrical knowledge and fault-finding skills.
• Confidence communicating with clients and working independently across multiple sites.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, controls and electrical faults and determine appropriate repairs.
• Replace valves, actuators, TRVs and tap cartridges and complete minor pipework alterations.
• Take pressure and temperature readings and complete fan and motor replacements.
• Carry out site inspections and identify requirements for major repairs.
• Oversee contractor visits and check completed works meet required standards.
• Support general maintenance, minor installations and light carpentry tasks.

Working as a foot-mobile engineer, you\'ll diagnose mechanical, controls and electrical faults, complete repairs and minor alterations, and coordinate specialist contractors where required.

The Role

Gas Safe registration, F-Gas Category I, Legionella/L8, 18th Edition or City & Guilds 2391 qualifications would be advantageous.
