Job Description

The role of Multi-Skilled Engineer (Facilities) will involve:

  • Overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of building systems and equipment.
  • Conducting routine inspections to ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Tasks ranging from electrical, mechanical and minor plumbing/fabric works.
  • Coordinating with contractors and service providers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Working some extra hours to maintain building and services functionality.
  • Monitoring and keeping the BMS and any systems up-to-date.
  • Supporting the implementation of new technologies and processes to enhance facilities management practices.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Multi-Skilled Engineer (Facilities) should have:

  • Experience in commercial property or facilities management environments.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • The ability and willingness to take the lead of any processes, issues and completion of work.
  • Working knowledge of Building Management/Control Systems.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • The flexibility to work some weekends (as paid overtime).
  • A qualification such as 18th Edition Electrician (desirable).
  • Due to the nature of the site all candidates must be able to pass security checks.
  • A background in maintenance within real estate and property.
