Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Eastbourne is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on Plant Equipment and Building Services.

The role covers fault finding on varied machinery, risk management, and compliance with health and safety standards. You will support the Maintenance Department, work on Three Phase systems up to 440V, and may include overtime, nights or weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time-served apprenticeship required.
• Strong experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical qualifications up to 17th Edition.
• Mechanical qualifications to a standard.
• Experience working on 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.
• Ability to fault find.
• Supervise contractors.
• Write risk assessments and permits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client through site equipment; update drawings and spares.
• Maintain plant and building services; implement preventative maintenance program.
• Fault find on a variety of machinery and PLC systems.
• Support health and safety within the department.
• Maintain heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes; provide electrical and mechanical expertise.
• Write and follow risk assessments; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Complete documentation per rules and legislation; work on three-phase systems up to 440V.
• Liaise with site services to address building services issues.
