Job summary

FM Search & Select Ltd seeks a seasoned Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical & Air Conditioning) to join a mobile facilities management team covering the Central Belt of Scotland. The role requires hands-on electrical maintenance, fault finding, and AC system upkeep across multiple commercial sites.

You will travel between sites across Scotland, work with clients, complete maintenance documentation, and operate with a company van and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition
• Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Experience in commercial buildings, Facilities Management or Building Services.
• Air Conditioning maintenance experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial properties
• Fault find and repair electrical systems and associated equipment
• Undertake PPM and compliance-related electrical works
• Carry out maintenance and fault finding on Air Conditioning systems
• Support with general building services and multi-skilled maintenance as required
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs and remedial works
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with relevant regulations
• Complete job sheets and maintenance documentation accurately
• Liaise directly with clients and site teams
• Work independently across a mobile portfolio
• Occasionally travel to sites throughout Scotland

Multi-Skilled Engineer - Electrical & Air Conditioning

Central Belt, Scotland | Mobile

Up to £47,000 + Overtime + Company Van

We're looking to speak with experienced Multi-Skilled Engineers to join a mobile facilities management team covering the Central Belt of Scotland.

The core skill for this position will be electrical maintenance, so we're looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician who also has good Air Conditioning experience and is comfortable working across a wider range of building services.

The role will predominantly cover sites across the Central Belt, with occasional travel to other locations throughout Scotland.

The Role

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial properties
• Fault find and repair electrical systems and associated equipment
• Undertake PPM and compliance-related electrical works
• Carry out maintenance and fault finding on Air Conditioning systems
• Support with general building services and multi-skilled maintenance as required

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical qualification
• 18th Edition
• Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience
• Previous experience within commercial buildings, Facilities Management or Building Services
• Air Conditioning maintenance experience
• F-Gas qualification would be highly desirable
• Comfortable working across multiple disciplines as a Multi-Skilled Engineer
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong client-facing skills

• Salary up to £47,000, depending on experience
