Job summary

FM Search & Select Ltd are recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to cover the East of Scotland on a mobile basis. You’ll maintain and support a portfolio of commercial contracts including retail and hospitality sites, with a strong emphasis on proactive PPM, fault finding and repairs.

The role offers a salary up to £47,000, a company van for personal use, and ample overtime. You’ll manage your own mobile workload, travel across sites, and liaise with clients to deliver high

Qualifications

• Experienced Air Conditioning / HVAC engineer.
• F-Gas qualification.
• Strong service, maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Experience working within commercial environments.
• Comfortable carrying out small installation works.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.
• Able to work independently within a mobile role.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and planned maintenance on air conditioning systems.
• Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults.
• Complete repairs and remedial works.
• Carry out small installation works where required.
• Fault find across a range of AC equipment.
• Identify and report follow-on works.
• Work across commercial, retail and hospitality environments.
• Manage your own workload and mobile schedule.
• Liaise directly with clients and provide a high standard of customer service.
• Complete all relevant job sheets and compliance documentation.

FM Search & Select are working with an established Facilities Management business who are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their mobile team covering the East of Scotland.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for a varied mobile role, working across a portfolio of commercial contracts including retail and hospitality sites.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and supporting a range of air conditioning systems across your portfolio, with duties including:

• Carrying out PPM and planned maintenance on air conditioning systems
• Attending reactive breakdowns and diagnosing faults
• Completing repairs and remedial works
• Carrying out small installation works where required
• Fault finding across a range of AC equipment
• Identifying and reporting follow-on works
• Working across commercial, retail and hospitality environments
• Managing your own workload and mobile schedule
• Liaising directly with clients and providing a high standard of customer service
• Completing all relevant job sheets and compliance documentationEnsuring work is completed safely and to the required standards
