Job summary

A multi-skilled Shift Engineer role at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Wisbech offers an opportunity to maintain and improve critical manufacturing assets in a fast-paced environment. You will perform planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime and consistent output.

You’ll work with a supportive maintenance team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, with clear progression paths into Team Lead and Supervisor roles as you demonstrate capability and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in food or FMCG manufacturing maintenance.
• Level 3 engineering qualification or higher (Apprenticeship trained ideally).
• Strong teamwork and approachable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and respond to mechanical/electrical faults.
• Undertake project work to upgrade and improve plant equipment.
• Assist in maintaining production uptime by performing reactive maintenance and quick repairs.

About the Role

As a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer, you'll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), project work, and reactive maintenance. You'll work within a team of engineers, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, and play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. What We're Looking For in a Shift Engineer:
