Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer - Maintenance to join a Derbyshire site undergoing automation and expansion. You will maintain assets that produce recognisable products, working on electrical and mechanical systems with a structured training path.

The role offers full-time permanent employment, with a salary package around £52,500 and a raise after six months, plus benefits such as pension and health cover in a world-class manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing.
• HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Experience in FMCG/pharma/food & beverage manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment safely.
• Examine machinery and report condition, performance and improvement actions.
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance per schedules (PPMs).
• Suggest mini projects to improve plant performance and may modify machinery.
• Follow and generate PPMs and maintenance records.

Salary Package: £52,500 + Package rising after 6 months

Recruitment drive due to site automation, expansion and £MM CAPEX Investment

Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8 hour shift rotation plus weekend overtime voluntary

Key Responsibilities - Multi-Skilled Engineer - Maintenance

• To service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner
• To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance according to agreed schedules
• Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve the plant performance, including machinery modifications
• Follow and generate PPM's

Qualifications & Requirements - Multi-Skilled Engineer - Maintenance

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing
• HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
• Or the equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background
• FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage chemicals are most welcome including manufacturing, Fill and Pack ideally
