Job summary

Staffline looks to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer - Maintenance in Derbyshire to support a world-class manufacturing site. You will join a team of engineers maintaining assets that produce well-known products and contribute to continued site expansion.

The role includes servicing, adjustments, preventive maintenance, and hands-on improvements with a focus on safe practices and reliability. A competitive salary and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering with manufacturing background.
• Dual-skill capability in maintenance and servicing of plant equipment.
• Experience in FMCG, Pharma, or food & beverage manufacturing is preferred.
• Background with planned and preventive maintenance programmes.

Responsibilities

• Service, adjust, and repair machinery safely using appropriate tools.
• Inspect equipment, report on condition and plan improvements.
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Suggest mini-projects to improve plant performance and modify machinery.
• Follow and generate PPMs to keep assets reliable.

• Job Title: MultiSkilled Engineer - Maintenance
• Factory expansion - new headcount
• Salary Package: £52,500 + Package rising after 6 months
• Job Type: Permanent
• Electrical or mechanical bias must be dual skilled
• Location: Derbyshire
• Recruitment drive due to site automation, expansion and £MM CAPEX Investment
• Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8 hour shift rotation plus weekend overtime voluntary
• Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities - Multi-Skilled Engineer - Maintenance

• To service, adjus,t and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner
• To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements
• Carry ouplanneded and preventive maintenance according to agreed schedules
• Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve the plant performance, including machinery modifications
• Follow and geenrate PPM's

Qualifications & Requirements - Multi-Skilled Engineer - Maintenance

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing
• HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
• Or the equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background
• FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage chemicals are most welcome including manufacturing, Fill and Pack ideally
