Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd is assisting in the recruitment of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a Prestwich site in the UK. The role involves general site maintenance, electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs, and fault finding on fast-paced machinery including presses and robotics.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and have opportunities for training, development, and enhanced benefits within a supportive engineering team.

Qualifications

• Time-Served Maintenance Engineering experience.
• Industrial engineering background in a fast-paced environment.
• Fault finding ability both electrically and mechanically.
• Motivated to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to develop and take on training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance across the site.
• Electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs.
• Fault finding on electrical and mechanical faults.
• Adhering to Health & Safety on site at all times.
• Working on improvement projects with machinery and processes.
• Reporting into the Maintenance Manager.
• Maintenance on fast-paced machinery including presses, robotics, PLCs.
• Participation in internal and external training and development.

Role Description – What you will be doing

• General Maintenance across the site
• Electrical and Mechanical Breakdowns and Repairs
• Fault Finding on both Electrical and Mechanical Faults
• Adhering to Health & Safety on site at all times
• Working on improvement projects with machinery, processes, training
• Reporting into the Maintenance Manager
• Maintenance on fast paced machinery, presses, robotics, PLC’s
• Lots of internal & external training & development opportunities
