Job summary

WH Scott Group in the United Kingdom is seeking highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our team, delivering servicing, testing, and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and lifting equipment.

Travel up to 25% across the UK; a valid driving license is required. The role offers a competitive starting salary, with opportunities for overtime, PPE provided, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Electrical engineering expertise with three-phase control systems.
• Mechanical experience with large motors, brakes and gearboxes.
• Familiarity with PLCs and inverter control systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns, perform servicing, testing, and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and lifting equipment.
• Support installation of lifting equipment across the UK.

About the Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will:

• Attend breakdowns, perform servicing, testing, and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and associated lifting equipment.
• Support the installation of lifting equipment for a variety of customers across the UK.
• Work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure the highest quality of maintenance and service.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Proven experiencein preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Electrical engineering expertisewith a solid understanding of three-phase control systems.
• Mechanical experiencewith medium to large motors, electro-mechanical brakes, and reduction gearboxes.
• Familiarity withPLCs and inverter control systems(desirable but not essential).
• A validdriving licenseand a willingness to travel (25% travel required).
