Job summary

Harper Anderton is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join its busy food manufacturing site. You will work across high-speed production and packaging equipment, taking ownership of electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding and problem solving to maximise equipment reliability.

The role offers exposure to machine upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects, with a salary of £50,000–£55,000 and strong opportunities to develop technical skills within the engineering

Qualifications

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Responding quickly to breakdowns across the site.
• Identifying recurring equipment issues and implementing long-term solutions.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects focused on reliability and efficiency.

Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer looking to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site where you can get involved in everything from reactive maintenance to continuous improvement projects?

This is an opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy food manufacturing operation, working as part of an established Engineering team to maximise equipment reliability and minimise production downtime. You’ll work across a range of high-speed production and packaging equipment, taking ownership of both electrical and mechanical maintenance while supporting wider site improvement projects.

The role would suit an engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem-solving and working closely with Production to keep a manufacturing site running effectively. There will also be opportunities to get involved in machinery upgrades, installations and continuous improvement activity.
