Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd in Louth is seeking an electrically biased maintenance engineer to join a long-established manufacturing group that serves automotive, FMCG and packaging markets. The role features a Friday to Sunday pattern with days and nights, 6-6, and a strong emphasis on reliability and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be apprentice-trained, with experience of PLC systems, automated machinery and PPM/TPM practices.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background with time-served PPM/TPM experience.
• Experience with PLC controlled automated machinery.
• Ability to work on own initiative and improve machine efficiency.

The Role

The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with experience of PPM and TPM manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. If you also work on PLC controlled automated machinery ensuring that uptime is maintained, and production schedules are maintained. There is a huge amount of development on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably, with the possibility of taking on a supervisory role in the future.
