Job summary

Eko Talent in Leeds is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to ensure production equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably. You will carry out planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

This permanent, day-shift role runs Monday to Friday with overtime earnings and company benefits, offering long‑term career progression within a stable manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a wide range of production machinery.
• Respond quickly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults using a systematic approach and implement effective repairs.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, robotics, automated production lines, and associated machinery.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded and follow-up actions are completed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability, efficiency, quality, and safety across the site.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve equipment issues and optimise machine performance.
• Assist with machine changeovers, installations, and commissioning of new equipment where required.

The Role

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Working closely with production and the wider engineering team, you'll carry out planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and identify opportunities to improve equipment performance.
