Qualifications

• Experience performing planned preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
• Experience with conveyors, robotics and automated lines is preferred.
• A proactive approach to reliability, safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery.
• Respond quickly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, robotics, automated production lines and related equipment.
• Ensure maintenance records are accurately kept and actions completed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability and efficiency.
• Work with production teams to resolve equipment issues and optimise performance.
• Assist with machine changeovers, installations and commissioning when required.

The Role

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Working closely with production and the wider engineering team, you'll carry out planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and identify opportunities to improve equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a wide range of production machinery.
• Respond quickly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults using a systematic approach and implement effective repairs.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, robotics, automated production lines, and associated machinery.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded and follow-up actions are completed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability, efficiency, quality, and safety across the site.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve equipment issues and optimise machine performance.
• Assist with machine changeovers, installations, and commissioning of new equipment where required.
