This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy food manufacturing site in Corby, working across high-speed production and packing equipment supporting some of the UK’s best-known snack brands. You’ll play a key role in keeping production moving, combining planned and reactive maintenance with fault-finding, plant improvements and ongoing engineering activity across the site.
This is more than simply a maintenance role. You’ll gain exposure to new technology, process improvement and wider engineering projects, with the opportunity to broaden both your electrical and mechanical capabilities. The business has a clear engineering development structure, providing opportunities to progress technically as your qualifications, training and site competencies develop.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
A salary of approximately £48,321 to £53,691 depending on qualifications and competency, with a clear structure for technical development. Engineers with a relevant Level 3 qualification can enter the middle band, while the top band is available to those meeting the required qualification and multi-skilled competency criteria.
You’ll join a stable, high-volume manufacturing operation with plenty of engineering variety, alongside opportunities to gain exposure to automation, process improvements and engineering projects.
