Job summary

Zest is recruiting a Multi-skilled Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical bias) in Bedfordshire. You will work a 12-hour slow rotating shift pattern (days/nights) and keep mechanical and electrical systems running across production facilities.

The role requires an engineering qualification and multi-skilled experience in food, FMCG or manufacturing. Competitive salary, 22 days holiday, pension and training are offered.

What you'll do

Working a 12-hour slow rotating shift pattern (2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights with every other Friday to Sunday off), you'll be at the heart of keeping mechanical and electrical systems running smoothly across production and site facilities.

• Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance to the highest safety and quality standards
• Keep documentation accurate and get involved in continuous improvement initiatives
• Respond to production needs and coordinate work with engineering and factory teams
• Liaise with contractors and source spares efficiently
• Keep the workshop and work areas clean, safe and well organised
