Job summary

Zest is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Cambridgeshire, on a days-only 3 on / 2 off shift. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and rapid breakdown repair across production equipment.

You will complete PPM schedules, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and work with production teams to reduce downtime while keeping accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, apprenticeship, or equivalent).
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing
• Confident working independently and as part of a team
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Happy working a 3 on / 2 off days shift pattern

Location: Cambridgeshire (commutable from March, Wisbech, Chatteris, Ely, Huntingdon and Peterborough) Salary: 48,000- 50,000
