Job summary

Ambitions Personnel in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, are recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a permanent late shift (Mon-Fri, 1:30pm - 10:00pm) in a food manufacturing environment. You will maintain production equipment, carry out PPM, and support improvement projects to maximise plant performance.

You should have strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, PLC experience, and a relevant engineering qualification. Training is available for boiler/BOAS and steam systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Knowledge of steam systems and pipework.
• Experience with HVAC and chiller systems.
• Boiler room or BOAS experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
• Previous experience within food manufacturing is desirable.
• A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned maintenance and statutory inspections.

Ambitions Personnel are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our established client in Huntingdon for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team on a permanent late shift.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing food manufacturing business, offering a stable Monday to Friday position with no weekend working.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring production equipment is maintained to the highest standard, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and supporting continuous improvement projects to maximise plant performance.
