Job summary

Eko Talent is recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer for a specialist manufacturing partner in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on minimising downtime and resolving equipment issues while ensuring preventative maintenance is performed to a high standard.

You will work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain conveyors, robotics, automated systems and related equipment, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults to keep production running safely.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of manufacturing machinery and process equipment.
• Ensuring production machinery is maintained, safe and fully functional, including conveyors, robotics, automated systems and associated production equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing both electrical and mechanical faults to minimise production downtime.
• Using a structured approach to fault finding, diagnostics and root-cause analysis.
• Completing scheduled PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) activities in line with the site maintenance programme.
• Accurately recording maintenance activities, faults, parts used and any required follow-up work.
• Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns and supporting production to restore equipment to service safely.

We have partnered with a specialist manufacturing company leading the way in product innovation. After sustained business growth, they are now looking to develop their engineering team to support production demands.

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will work closely with the production and engineering teams to minimise downtime, resolve equipment issues and ensure preventative maintenance is completed to a high standard.
