Job summary

Lancer Scott, based in Bristol, is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Electrician or Electrical Improver to cover Bournemouth and surrounding areas. The role involves managing a full range of electrical work from complex repairs to maintenance, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Candidates should have 3+ years in building maintenance, hold or be working towards the 18th Edition, and possess a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years' experience in a building maintenance role.
C&G 2382 18th Edition is helpful or working towards.
Current Full UK Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Responsible for pre-planned maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
Completion of reactive and remedial repairs following testing and inspections.
Plan and complete works related to electrical systems, including installation and testing.
Use initiative to solve technical problems in reactive maintenance, including sourcing parts and technical support.
Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out for clients.
Complete all works within agreed timescales and comply with regulations and contract specs.
Record procedures and risk assessments to minimise risks.
Utilise PDAs or electronic devices to complete works.
Liaise with control hub for efficient response to tasks, solo or in a team.
Observe health and safety standards at all times.
