Job summary

Broadland Housing Association is seeking a Multi Skilled Operative (Builder/External) based in the East to cover the Association's footprint as required. The role centres on responsive repairs in occupied homes and work on empty properties to ensure they are ready for relet.

Key duties include bricklaying, paving, concreting, groundworks, plastering and tiling, with a focus on timely, high-quality workmanship and resident satisfaction. DBS check and on-call rota are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 4 GCSEs (including Maths and English)
• Full trade Apprenticeship or NVQ level 2 in Bricklaying
• Valid Driving Licence
• Experience of working in Property Maintenance
• Good IT, literacy and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Complete allocated repairs and maintenance works including Bricklaying, Paving, Concreting, Groundworks, Plastering and Tiling.
• Deliver an efficient repairs service with first-time-fix where possible and minimise callbacks.
• Manage own workload to complete tasks in a timely manner according to performance indicators.
