Job summary

Platform Property Care is seeking an experienced Multi Skill Trades Plumber to join our Responsive Repairs team covering Matlock and Chesterfield. You’ll deliver multi-trade repairs in customers’ homes, with plumbing as your focus and other trades as needed.

You’ll be a team player, hardworking and customer‑focused, with NVQ L2 Plumbing and a valid driving licence. The role includes a mobile rota and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ L2 Plumbing is essential.
• Experience of working as a Plumber in the building trade, either as a Plumber or multi-skilled Plumber.
• Experience with Social Landlord/housing associations delivering multi-trade repairs is preferred.
• Additional trade skills (carpentry, plastering, decorating, tiling) are desirable.
• Experience delivering multi-trade work and keeping jobs on track.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-trade repairs in tenants' homes.
• Deliver repairs quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Use PDA and Microsoft/Outlook for job updates and reporting.
• Maintain safety and customer service standards on-site.

Platform Property Care are looking for an experienced Multi Skill Trades Plumber to join our talented Responsive Repairs team covering Matlock and Chesterfield to help us ensure our customer's homes are maintained to a high-quality standard.

You will be a Multi Skill Trades Operative and plumbing will be your focus, but experience in other trades is essential, as you will be delivering Multi Trade repairs within a responsive repairs environment.

The role is varied. No two days will be the same and you will meet a wide range of customers along the way. It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return, you'll have the support of a great team.

You'll be working in people's homes, so you will need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.

We are looking for someone who has:

• NVQ L2 Plumbing is essential
• Experience of working as a Plumber in the building trade either as a Plumber or as a multi-skilled Plumber
• Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council, delivering multi trade repairs and maintenance
• Associated trade skills, and or qualifications in carpentry, plaster patching, decorating and wall tiling would also be desirable.
• Experience of delivering multi-trade work
• Good organisational skills
• Experience of keeping jobs on track
• The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently.
• Good IT Skills. Experienced using a PDA. Experience of using Microsoft and Outlook email.
• Full current valid driving Licenceessential as this is a mobile role.
• As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check.

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota, which is required.

This role is for a team covering repairs in Matlock and Chesterfield so you will need to live in this area.
