Job summary

Platform Housing Group's Platform Property Care team is hiring an experienced Painter and Decorator to maintain our homes in Matlock, Chesterfield and surrounding areas. You will work in customers' homes with a focus on high-quality finishes and first-time-right delivery.

Requirements include an apprenticeship or City & Guilds, extensive painting and decorating experience, a full driving licence, and a DBS check.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating or City & Guilds qualification.
• Extensive experience in Painting and Decorating and associated trade skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to keep jobs on track.
• Full current driving licence required for mobile role.
• DBS check required for working in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Finish and maintain homes in Matlock, Chesterfield and surrounding areas.
• Work as part of a busy repairs and maintenance team with attention to detail.
• Deliver work right first time and meet strict deadlines.
• Travel between sites as this is a mobile role.

With a passion for detail, you will have the ability to work on your own initiative. • You will have served an apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating or obtained an equivalent City & Guilds qualification
• Extensive time served in Painting, Decorating and associated trade skills
• Good organisational skills
• Experience of keeping jobs on track
• Takes ownership, responsibility for their tasks and has a right first-time approach
• Works well alone but also as part of a team
• The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficientlywhilst meeting strict deadlines
• Full current validdriving Licenceessential as this is a mobile role
• As you will be working in customers' homes you will need a DBS check.

This role is for a team based in the following towns so you will need to live close to or in these areas: Matlock and Chesterfield.Part of Platform Housing Group, Platform Property Care is a well-established property maintenance business.
