Job summary

Reed in the United Kingdom is seeking a Contract Manager to lead a multi-site Soft FM contract across Brighton, Crawley, Chichester, Horsham and surrounding areas. You will ensure safe, compliant service delivery for cleaning, grounds maintenance and bulk waste while managing budgets, teams and client relationships.

This highly visible role requires commercial acumen, strong people leadership and a proven track record of driving service excellence.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing Soft FM services (cleaning, grounds, waste).
Experience multi-site facilities contracts £1m+ value.
Strong people management including frontline/remote teams.
Budget control with P&L accountability.
Client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Proven health & safety knowledge and compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day delivery of cleaning, grounds maintenance and bulk waste across sites.
Ensure KPIs and service standards are met consistently.
Lead, develop and support frontline teams.
Recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
Conduct site audits, inspections and risk assessments.
Monitor health & safety and environmental compliance.
Oversee budget and contract expenditure, support P&L.
Manage subcontractors and ensure quality.
