Job summary

300 North Limited seeks a Contract Manager to oversee a multi-site soft FM portfolio delivering cleaning, grounds maintenance and bulk waste collection from Brighton with regular travel to Crawley, Chichester and Horsham.

The role leads frontline teams, builds strong client relationships, and ensures services meet standards, performance targets and budgets. Salary £45,000–£50,000 plus an electric company car.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multi-site soft FM services, particularly cleaning and grounds maintenance.
• Experience overseeing contracts valued at £1 million or more.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing frontline teams.
• Sound budget management skills and exposure to full profit and loss accountability.
• Good knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• IOSH Managing Safely, or an equivalent qualification, would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage dispersed teams, including recruitment, training, rotas and performance.
• Oversee cleaning, grounds maintenance and bulk waste collection operations.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, estate walkabouts and risk assessments.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure safe, compliant working practices.
• Monitor budgets and financial performance.
• Build relationships with clients, residents and housing officers.
• Resolve service issues and drive continuous improvement.
