Job summary

Equans is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day activities across Cheshire East and West sites on a 3-month contract. You will travel between sites with a valid UK driving licence and own vehicle, ensuring work is completed to safety and quality standards on schedule.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, maintaining site records, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and enforcing health and safety practices across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required.
• CSCS card holder essential.
• First Aid trained or qualified.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) required.
• Fire Marshal qualification preferred.
• Asbestos Awareness is desirable.
• Proven experience as Site Manager or Site Supervisor.
• Strong health and safety knowledge.
• Able to coordinate multiple sites and teams.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities across Cheshire East and West sites.
• Ensure works are completed safely, to quality standards and on programme.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives.
• Maintain site records and documentation.
• Carry out regular site inspections and enforce PPE and safety practices.
• Monitor progress, quality and programme delivery.
• Identify and report site risks and issues.
• Support smooth delivery across multiple sites.
