Job summary

Equans is seeking a Site Manager to support multiple school sites across the Liverpool area. This hands-on role involves caretaking, maintenance, compliance checks and supervising subcontractors. The successful candidate must be reliable, flexible and able to travel between sites as required.

You will oversee general site duties, manage maintenance tasks and ensure work is completed to SLAs. Strong Health & Safety knowledge and DBS clearance are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Full clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel between multiple school sites.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
• Previous practical maintenance experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• Good communication and customer service skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general caretaking and site management duties across schools.
• Open and close school buildings as required.
• Perform maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
• Carry out planned maintenance and routine compliance checks (e.g., emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, door checks).
• Log maintenance jobs and provide updates on work orders.
