Job summary

Anchor Group Services in Birkenhead is hiring a Multi-Site Security Officer to join our security team at Cammell Laird. You will monitor access, conduct patrols and help keep the vessel safe on site.

Job Role: Multi-Site Security Officer

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Location: Cammell Laird, Campbeltown Road, Birkenhead, Merseyside, CH41 9BP

Reporting to: ContractManager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services,for an experienced Security Officer to join our established security team at Cammell Laird in Birkenhead. Due to an incoming vessel arriving on site, we are recruiting a team of Multi‑Site Security Officers to support our security operations by monitoring access, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring the vessel remains safe and secure at all times.

You will be required to provide a high level of customerservice to visitors to the site, complete patrols and remain vigilant at alltimes. You will need to be flexible andready to provide cover for various sites as needed, having the initiative toadapt to new sites and their individual requirements.

The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as aminimum.

Duties include:

• Protecting the client’s property, people and/or assets byproviding security services in direct accordance with the sites publishedAssignment Instructions (AI’s) and site-specific procedures
  
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities;informing offenders of policy and procedures
  
• Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate andappropriate manner to the Control Room/Shift Manager/OperationsManager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
  
• Completing reports by recording observations, information,occurrences, and surveillance activities
  
• Maintaining organisation's stability and reputation bycomplying with legal requirements
  
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related resultsas needed
  
• Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors tosite, providing a professional and friendly service
  
• Understanding the needs of our customer, respond accordinglyto customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
  
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times
