Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a reliable School Caretaker to support three school sites across Ealing and Hayes. The role requires travel between sites and includes minibus driving duties, with an enhanced DBS check expected as part of safeguarding.

Start date is ASAP and contract is to be confirmed as full-time or part-time. You will be responsible for general maintenance, safety, cleanliness and preparing rooms for activities, while working closely with school staff to ensure a safe and welcoming

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence required.
• Reliable, punctual and well organised.
• Willingness to travel between three sites.
• Experience in facilities or caretaking is advantageous.
• DBS checks and safeguarding procedures compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and basic DIY tasks.
• Open and secure premises; monitor safety.
• Inspect sites and report health and safety concerns.
• Maintain grounds, playgrounds and external areas.
• Set up and clear rooms for activities and events.
• Ensure premises are clean and well maintained.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Drive the school minibus and perform vehicle checks.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth site operation.
