Aspire People in London is looking for a reliable School Caretaker to support three school sites across Ealing and Hayes, ensuring safe, clean and welcoming environments for pupils and staff.

The role requires general maintenance, site security, and the ability to travel between two Ealing locations and one in Hayes. A full, valid UK driving licence is essential, as minibus duties are included, with pre-employment safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance, minor repairs and basic DIY tasks.
• Open and close school premises, ensuring buildings are safe and secure.
• Complete routine site inspections and report any maintenance or health and safety concerns.
• Maintain school grounds, playgrounds and external areas.
• Set up and clear rooms for school activities and events.
• Ensure the premises are clean, tidy and well maintained.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent issues.
• Drive the school minibus as required, ensuring pupil safety at all times.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects in accordance with school procedures.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure the smooth running of all three sites.
