Job summary

Red King Resourcing is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee refurbishment and fit-out construction projects across the Southampton, Reading, Oxford and London corridor. You will manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time and to high standards.

Applicants should have proven site management experience in refurbishment or fit-out, familiarity with occupied environments, and relevant health and safety qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• Experience managing projects valued £500k–£3m.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods and site management procedures.
• Strong health and safety expertise and compliance awareness.
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take full day-to-day management of construction sites.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site personnel.
• Ensure works are carried out safely, on programme and to quality standards.
• Monitor progress and resolve delays or issues.
• Liaise with clients, project managers and consultants.
• Manage snagging, defects and handover of completed projects.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and progress meetings.
