Job summary

Equans in London is seeking a Site Manager to lead the safe and successful delivery of building refurbishment works, including recladding. You will coordinate site teams and subcontractors, monitor programme, quality and costs, and uphold health and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with refurbishment projects and SMSTS/CSCS. A full driving licence and the ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of building and Health & Safety legislation.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Financial and commercial awareness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, programs, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and successful delivery of refurbishment works, including recladding.
• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors; monitor programme, quality and costs.
• Maintain high health and safety standards with PPE, inductions, risk assessments and permits.
• Conduct site inspections of scaffolding and lifting equipment; ensure qualifications.
• Perform SHEQ audits and report findings to senior management.
• Develop relationships with client representatives and RLOs for clear communication.
