Job summary

Franco Manca is seeking an Operations Manager for South England to lead a network of restaurants with a hands-on, people-focused approach. You will coach Restaurant Managers, drive sales, and improve profitability across multiple sites, ensuring consistent standards and outstanding guest experiences.

You will spend time in restaurants, developing leaders, solving operational challenges, and implementing initiatives that uplift performance and service quality across the region.

Qualifications

• Has multi-site management experience within hospitality or another fast-paced customer-facing business.
• Has a strong commercial understanding and enjoys improving business performance.
• Is passionate about developing Restaurant Managers and supporting teams to grow.
• Leads with a practical, hands-on approach and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
• Builds trust quickly and communicates clearly at every level.
• Balances accountability with support, helping people succeed while delivering great results.
• Wants to play an important role in shaping the future of Franco Manca.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a group of restaurants to deliver outstanding operational and commercial performance.
• Coach and develop Restaurant Managers, building confident leaders and strong succession plans.
• Help restaurants improve sales, profitability, labour, stock control and overall business performance.
• Use data, guest feedback and operational insight to identify priorities and drive continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment, retention and engagement across your area, helping build stable, high-performing teams.
• Work closely with the wider support teams to ensure restaurants receive practical guidance and consistent support.
