Job summary

Jobit is recruiting an experienced Nursery Area Manager to lead two nurseries in Alton and Liss, Hampshire. This full-time role focuses on operational leadership, safeguarding and delivering high-quality childcare and EYFS across both sites.

You will coach nursery managers, monitor performance and ensure staffing, regs and health & safety standards are consistently met, including Ofsted preparation and outdoor learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational and leadership support across the Alton and Liss nurseries.
• Supporting, coaching and developing Nursery Managers and their wider teams.
• Ensuring consistently high standards of childcare, education and EYFS delivery across both settings.
• Monitoring nursery performance and supporting managers with operational priorities.
• Ensuring staffing levels, rotas and resources are effectively managed.
• Supporting recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of nursery teams.
• Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety and regulatory requirements are consistently maintained.
• Supporting both settings in maintaining high standards in preparation for and following Ofsted inspections.
• Monitoring children's learning, development and wellbeing and ensuring appropriate systems and records are maintained.
• Building strong relationships with parents, staff and the wider nursery communities.
• Supporting the delivery and development of outdoor learning and Forest School activities.
• Travelling regularly between the Alton and Liss settings
