Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Network Project Manager to lead a multi-site retail cabling and cabinets rollout, delivering end-to-end network infrastructure improvements.

The role requires hands-on network engineering background and progression into project management, with responsibility for coordinating internal stakeholders and external vendors.

This 18–24 month contract offers a hybrid office setup and expenses-covered travel to site as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on network/infrastructure engineer who progressed into project management.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling, network hardware, and comms cabinet installations.
• Confident managing multiple sites, stakeholders and vendors; ITIL/Prince2/Agile familiarity beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site retail cabling and communications cabinet programme.
• Oversee site surveys and document existing network layouts and standards-compliant installations.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and third-party vendors; report on progress, risks and issues.
• Maintain accurate cable records and network diagrams for future reference.
• Travel as needed with 3-4 days in office Milton Keynes and 1-2 days working from home.
