Job summary

Pegasus Search & Selection is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join a Midlands-based retail team, delivering a portfolio of projects across the UK. The role spans from brief to handover, including fit-outs, refurbishments and new-builds, with potential to lead larger programmes.

The successful candidate will have strong client-facing skills, retail/property project experience, and a relevant construction qualification; MRICS/MCIOB is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction or property projects in retail.
• Experience in consultancy, client-side or contractor environments.
• Exposure to pre- and post-contract stages.
• Retail fit-out, refurbishment, store rollout or new-build exposure.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle project management from inception to completion.
• Manage retail fit-out, refurbishment and new-build projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design and consultant teams.
• Develop and manage project programmes.
• Control scope, programme, budget, quality and risk.
• Procurement and contractor management; post-contract delivery.
• Manage projects within live retail environments.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support multi-site retail programmes delivery.
