Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Network Project Manager to lead a multi-site retail cabling and comms cabinet programme. You will survey sites, document layouts, and manage internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to keep delivery on plan.

The role suits an engineer-turned-PM with strong cabling and hardware knowledge, capable of handling risks and progressing across multiple sites with some remote coordination.

Qualifications

• Background as a hands-on network/infrastructure engineer who has progressed into project management.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling, network hardware, and comms cabinet installations.
• Confident managing multiple sites, stakeholders and vendors; ITIL/Prince2/Agile familiarity beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Network/Infrastructure Project Manager delivering a multi-site retail cabling and comms cabinet programme.
• Oversee site surveys, documentation of existing network layouts, and standards-compliant installations.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and third-party vendors; report on progress, risks and issues.
• Maintain accurate cable records and network diagrams for future reference.
• 3-4 days office based in Milton Keynes, 1-2 working from home, limited travel to customer sites (expenses covered when required to travel).
• Estimated project length: 18-24 months.
